Frank Mark
Frank Mark (keyboards/electronics) and Roman Leykam (guitars/synths) met in 1983 in Nürnberg and started together with tape-recording experiments. When the audio CD era was growing we decided to make a snapshot of the days of our experiments at CD: »Ghost/Way of Thinking« was born. Unusual bizarre wide open soundscapes, too uncommercial for big business: FRANK MARK ARTS (FMA) was founded in 1989 in Munich/Germany.

With the liberty we continued to explore wide open soundscapes (sensitive) till the fringes (extreme colours). In 1996 we met Daniel Panasenko, Chuck Ehlis and Martin Birke alias Sandbox Trio in the worldwide web. Kurumba and Idiophone/Orcus Drawl was released at FMA. Also Martin's project Casualty Park and its releases Telepathy and Smoke occured at FMA. In 1998 we all together made a tour in Germany with concerts in Munich, Erlangen, Aschaffenburg, Hamburg, Berlin and Bochum.

When Daniel, Chuck and Martin were back in the USA, they and we continued with our own projects. Tragically Chuck Ehlis died at a car accident in January 2000. One of his last releases was exotic zoology made together with Morgan Guberman. Creative years followed, Dan and Martin continued with own projects but also found the time for collaborations with us: Act on Impulse in 2002 and Bewitched Revelations in 2006.
